A small, storied retreat on the banks of Spearfish Creek.
For years, Orchard Creek has welcomed travelers to a shaded corner of Spearfish, where fruit trees and towering pines frame ten cottages along the creek. The name comes from that orchard. The sound of the water comes free.
Most cottages are intimate one-bedroom retreats for two, with a queen bed and, in many, a gas fireplace for cool Black Hills evenings. For a larger party, the Cozy Getaway fills the upper floor of a century-old home, with tall ceilings, two bedrooms, and room for six beneath mature evergreens.
Each cottage is thoughtfully appointed with a well-stocked kitchen, fine linens and bath essentials, fast Wi-Fi, and streaming at no extra charge. In the evening, a private hot tub deck invites you to linger. In the morning, downtown's cafés, shops, and galleries are an easy stroll away.
